Ok so please recommend a rug in the following price brackets:

Save

Spend

Splurge

:)

Here's mine

Save: Masta Zing turnout - took a hammering and lasted very well for the money!

Spend: Whitney stripe wool rug - I love this rug, so versatile and washes lovely

Splurge: I am yet to splurge but looking at a FAL :D

Hopefully this can help people rug shopping, in ALL price brackets!
 
Good idea!

For turnouts:
save - derby house lw turnout (without neck though as their necks are the oddest shape!)

spend - premier equine turnout

splurge - rhino

for stable rugs

save: shires (nice and deep for the £)

spend: not sure!

splurge: rhino again!

My fave though are the rhino ones, pricey but last really well and fit brilliantly. Fortunatly my mare runs warm so no need to buy loads of rugs! If we have a very cold night then she gets an old whitney blanket under her stable rug - super toasty!
 
Save: Masta zing turnout: Very waterproof in the heaviest of rain! And seem to fit well

Spend: Rhino :-)

Splurge: Rambo :-D

Agree with Rhino being such good value! And Rambo too. My boy came to me with some lovely rugs, which have lasted through his hammerings and probably will come back to life for another season - thats 3 years from a turnout - brill!
 
For me its premier equine. Save cos I buy them mostly in the sales and splurge because they are so good.
