A friend had a really badly fitted saddle from them.

I also would be interested in one that travels, but have had REALLY good dealings with Throstlenest but probably too far away for you.

Oh really?? My friend and a few at her yard had them and really rated them

I might just stick to Bridlepath International then!

Hi, I've always used Crewe Saddlery and they have always provided a professional service and never had any complaints with them.
They will come out to you or you can take your horse to them.
They will let you have a saddle on trial and have a choice of some big branded names as well as making their own.
They have a website you can have a look at.
Anyway, good luck

Andy Wheals (The Saddle Man) - cam pm his number if required. Did a geat job of my saddle plus quite a few of my friends too. V highly recommended.

I use Sally Cartwright based at Beaver Hall. She's fabulous! Completely independent fitter. She will fit based on what she genuinely believes fits your horse best and not what range she would get most commission for!

She will also happily say a saddle can be altered to fit instead of giving you the standard "oooo this is terrible, you'll need a new one for £x NOW or your pony will die" spiel.
