As title really, We have loads of saddlecloths and numnahs, and they all seem to be needing to be replaced at once! I bought a HKM saddlecloth at Hickstead on Saturday, my daughter used it last night on a lesson and the piping had already frayed all the way through where the girth goes!

Preferably something in a plain colour, suitable for PC, and not too thick, and cotton filled. All my old ones seem to have lasted for an embarrassingly long time, I'm just glad I only bought the one at the weekend. I have, in the past, been a fan of the Jumpers Horse Line ones, but wondered if there is anything else out there I am missing out on!

Thanks

the Schockemohle Sports ones are lovely, don't move, wash well and you can get them in dressage or sj cut, love mine :)

I like the lemieux ones. available in lambskin or without. Ive got the shaped close contact jumping one without wool and its lovely. They have little reinforced bits near where the girth goes to stop any fraying.

If you google horsehealth you'll find them there

The Griffin Nuumed high wither saddle cloths are really nice, and they sit up nicely in to the saddle- i have the half wool lined ones but they do make them plain without the wool- you can get the in GP/Dressage versions- may be try ebay!

Also Premier Equine may be worth a try and Km elite do some nice ones too!

Happy shopping! p.s can you send the one you bought at Hickstead back?

love love love numed high wither ones, they fit beautifully and wash and wear incredibly well. If you are after a wool one as well then I think they really are the best as it is sheeps wool woven onto a cotton backing so it is lighter and with no joins which makes it pretty much perfect, well worth the £! I use mine week in/week out and wash it once a week (rub cheap hair conditioner onto the wool before washing) and it just doesn't seem to wear or loose it's softness and spring at all! I also love my lemieux, but it doesn't wear half so well which is gutting as when new they look so smart!
