I can not for the life of me find a breastplate to fit elvis. He's big in the shoulder/chest but doesn't need the length to the girth or up to the reins (martingale attachment)
The Mark Todd extra full I've just bought is still a little tight round the neck/chest/shoulder but the martingale attachment is far too long as is the part that goes to the girth.
I have used a standard full size breastplate before and left it to stretch out but it's still too tight, and I've had to punch holes in the martingale attachment to make that shorter.

I'm not looking to spend silly money, and don't care whether it's 3 or 5 point. I prefer the elasticated types but if non elasticated is better I'll go with that.

Thank you in advance, and for anyone else who has a horse with odd dimensions I feel your pain.

Jenni999 thank you I'll look them up.

JustKickOn I'm thinking it may end at that- having to get a bespoke one made.

Jnhuk: did you just go to your local saddler/tack shop? I'm seriously considering this...I'm getting sick of returning tack that my odd horse doesn't fit in to. He ranges from cob to beyond extra full!

I used local saddler who is happy to do bespoke work and came out when in local area to see horse etc...

My saddle fitter also is happy to do stuff but their workshop is not so local
