For a horse who is always too alert! My Appy has just moved yard and always seems to be on alert at that moment, box walks when in, listening to every little sound, head high and generally wound up. I think its because he is at a quieter yard than the previous one and also a lot of horses hack past everyday - which he thinks is the Hunt. he will hopefully settle and cam down but whilst he is so stressy does anyone recommend a calmer I could give him to take the edge off and help him relax?

I have 6 yo Nf Gelding who is a bit of a thug... banging on his door, barging etc. I have now had him on Equine America' s magnesium powder and Brewers yeast tablets. It seems to just help him to think before he acts. ( Its also much cheaper than the other calmers!)

Relaxin. It's fab. Made my youngster concentrate on what i was asking rather than spooking at the rather scary letter B. Doesn't affect performance at all.
