As title.

4 year old Greyhound, destroys fluffy/cuddly toys within minutes, breaks chewing rubbery toys in a few days (extreme Kong lasted about a week!), but she adores having something cuddly or fluffy.

Could anybody recommend me a heavy duty dog toy that has latest well? (Or am I asking a miracle?!).

Thanks!

I have a tuffy hare which has lasted-a really determined chewer would probably go through it though and although fabric, its quite hard.

have you tried her with one of the toys with no filling?

Haha we have a destructive whippet and pretty much gave up! He LOVES soft toys but destroys most of them in minutes. He does have one - a wooly mammoth we got from pets at home (it's a 'Tuff toy' so is heavier than normal soft toys and has better stitching) which he hasn't destroyed completely. Normally when he gets a soft toy he immediately wants to make a hole in it and pull all the stuffing out (he gets a bit obsessed) but he hasn't done this with the mammoth, he's had it a year and it's lost one tusk and has some holes in but still has all stuffing in tact - A MIRACLE! :D He just loves it lots - he sleeps with it.

All other soft toys are fair game however so we just give him them and once he's pulled the stuffing out he still plays with the carcass!

Though, I did get him one toy from TK Maxx (another tuff toy) I can't rememeber the make but it's soft, in the shape of a bone and is red with black lining around the stitches. He hasn't managed to destroy that one either so might be worth looking into. Rope toys are also good, he hasn't destroyed them as much (again, found a cheap one in TK Maxx).

ETA: Found the bone. It's this one: https://www.mrpets.co.uk/p14507/Tuffy-Ultimate-Bone-.php?gclid=COOelcXcgtECFe8K0wod4BEH7Q

Tuffy make lots of toys but this is the one he hasn't destroyed yet. We got him the octopus but that didn't last long.

stop showing me these things!!! I've already spent far too much on Mrs Spaniel's Xmas presents this year.... She is also another destructive minded dog

I'm another that gave up on "proper" toys and just buy cheapies from charity shops, ones without plastic eyes/noses etc if needs be. Decided if that's what my boy lied doing then I would let him get on with it!! Occasionally a toy survives longer for no apparent reason, I have one he's had for years with hardly any damage!
