For my Ex Racer mare, currently in light work, as has feet issues, so need to consider feeding for feet too! Normally struggle to keep weight on her, but she also gets fizzy quite easily.

She is currently out during the day and in at night, but they will be coming in for winter soon. Just fed happy hoof at the moment with extra biotin.

Thank you

Dodson & Horrell ERS pellets. Specifically for horses that tye-up (bn there done that!) & oil for extra calories.
I spoke a lot 2 D&H bout the ERS & according 2 them can feed kilos of the stuff each day & not cause tyeing up (altho I never fed huge

Grr fone posted b4 finished!
I never had 2 feed huge amounts

Sorry no idea bout the feet very lucky that's 1 problem I've never had 2 deal with!!

HAving looked at the ERS pellets I would say they look pretty safe for barefooters and I am considering tryin them on my boy barefoot boy who I suspect has epsm.. any further reviews of them would be fab!

I rate the ERS pellets, seen them used on an advanced eventer, and also used them on my low level eventer with really good results. My lad is prone to going divvy and losing weight, these helped and he had plenty of sensible energy :)
