Recommend me a fly mask with good eye clearance.

I need to get my horse a fly mask, all the ones I've had so far seem to be so close to his eyes, his current shires one has darts in to poke away from the eyes, but after a while they crease and sit on his eyelashes!
I saw one in a magazine ages ago and can't remember the make, but it was almost like a big dome around the eyes and I don't remember who made it!
Any recommendations?

Wash your shires one, reshape and leave to dry. That's what worked with all of our ones.

Or you could do as Riderlizzie suggests, I rate the shires masks quite highly.

The Rambo one has a lot of clearance from the eyes - however it rubbed my mum's horse raw behind the ears!
I like the Premier Equine one for my very sensitive skinned cob (put of loose though) or the KM Elite one - I got a KM Elite as a spare and it's identical to the Premier Equine but was only £9.00!

Premier equine is good, my connemara seems to have eyes very wide apart, all other masks have the darts in the wrong place, but the premiere equine fits him well and gives him plenty of clearence and doesnt collapse in.

The Equilibrium ones are good. I have one that's three years old now and has been through the washing machine quite a few times, and the eye part still sits well clear of eyes and eyelashes.

This is the one I use, but they also have ones that cover the nose, and ones that cover nose and ears.

I second the premier equine ones, I've just bought a new one as my horses has seen better days (it is 3 years old now) as they were half price in their sale

Just found and washed mine - it is a Farnham one, made in America going by the label, and has fleece around all the edges so doesn't rub either. Have never heard of the make though!

I have Legacy Fly Masks and I think they are great, fit my cob perfectly and give him plenty of room for his eyes (he has full size though)

I've tried numerous fly masks but this is the one I've used for the last three years. It has very good clearance from Zara's eyes once you've got rid of the creases where it's been folded up. Every week I just throw it in the washing machine and it comes out as good as new. Highly recommended.
