My mare's Cashel fly mask has finally given up on life and I would like to replace it, but ideally with a mask that has black mesh for better visibility. Any recommendations for masks that are a good fit for dinky Arab faces? She won't tolerate a nose net and has very sensitive skin, so something with nice soft lining would be good.

I have the Shires. The cob size, I haven't tried the pony size. The ones with the nose flap are too long, however the style below is fine. I have sewn a shorter nose flap on previously.

I used Shires last year and really, really liked them except they don't the have a forelock hole. May not be an issue for you but mine has a lot of forelock so prefer it to be pulled through. Shame as they'd be perfect otherwise!

The Rambo Plus masks are excellent and don't go all crumpled up around the eyes. I'd say they come up on the larger side, so probably pony for an Arab.

Why not get the ear-less version. You can have the forelock out then. That's what I do.

No masks fit my Arab mare apart from the Cashels in Arab size, they are all too narrow across the forehead and annoy/squash her eye whiskers or too big around the jaw if I size up....you could try the Cashel quiet ride version which are a finer mesh and black for visibility while riding?
