Recommend me a heat-reflector sheet please

So new car, need new system. I have ventlocks etc but with the van I used a windshield reflector but am wanting one of the bigger ones-absolutely needs to be fix-downable because Scotland. I like the lok of the more solid Ventlock ones but there are bigger stretchy ones available. Anyone got any preferences?


Simply not interested in any discussion about leaving dogs in cars-its a totally safe environment with shade for most of the day.

Aluminet is what you're after but they're pricey. I think there are some Silver Screen stockists in UK also.

During the hot spell last year my mate bought some sheets of radiator reflector foil and secured them to the van with strong magnets.
I travel with about eight windscreen shields and the magnets mean I can affix them anywhere.
We all have several sets of magnets handy as we got sucked into the Top-Matic craze a few years back the red ones are super strong (I get stuck to cars, fridges, portakabins, radiators etc), black ones not so much.

they dont look bad-not bothered if they cost a bit provided they last-like the fact they let air though and I want somethig convenient and not fiddly. do you know if they will scratch paint?

ha! I asked on Amazon and got three replies in ten minutes-how does that work? its very soft apparently. I am a bit conflicted, the solid ones might stop rain getting in open windows-again, useful in Scotland but have more options now, thanks all.

Bit more that what you are asking for but this is what I use to cover the entire car; sliding side doors and boot open, cool mats and battery operated fan....dogs cool as ice all last summer.

thank you-I have fans etc. tbh if its that hot (much rarer here) they stay at home because if I can, I take the day off lol!
