Recommend me a mane and tail spray please

Hi all, I'm looking to buy a new mane and tail spray for my Welshie! Her mane is very thick reasonably long and quite tangly! It has a tendency to get very dry and is also like wire especially coming into winter. I'm off for a big shop all things horsey on Friday and was going to pick it up then. Any recommendations? Thank you

Pledge furniture polish is fab. I have a sec D with a thick tail almost to the ground, and an unruly mane that is very thick and goes everywhere, and furniture polish keeps it easily manageable, and the flies don't seem to like it - bonus!

Carr, Day & Martin - Canter Mane & Tail conditioner

Works brilliantly on my Welshies ultra thick mane and tail and also my ID/TB knotty straggly excuse for mane and tail

Also quite good on working knots out of spaniels coats too

Another vote for Canter Mane and Tail conditioner, I won't use anything else

I use Groomers groom and detangle spray, it's fab

Have used Canter mane and tail before though and that's good as well

Not a fan of Supreme Products detangle and shine, I found it too greasy

i use Barrier Tangle Free and Silky - works really well and has a lovely tropical/coconut smell.

I use Gold Label mane & tail conditioner, it's as good as Carr & Day & Martin, but a bit cheaper!!

I love the gold label mane, tail and coat conditioner (pale green stuff) it's fab and reasonably priced too!!

Plus I used to rub in pig oil in my welshies dry tail

My friend recently purchased a kids bottle of hair conditioner for 99p and it does a brilliant job, and at the fraction price of a 'horsey' branded bottle.

I have carr day and martin one currently.

Morrisons basic conditioner, cost me about 35p and has lasted ages. I put some in a trigger spray bottle, water it down a little so it will spary and works on my TB, Exmoor and tangled mess of a shetland. Smells nice too!

So after scouring the shelve's of Ingatestone Saddlery i went for Canter mane and tail conditioner. It says you only need to use once every week/2weeks, Me being me(and knowing how uncontrollable my ponies mane and tail are!) thought "Pftt no way! she's gunna need it alot more than that!" Well i gave her mane and tail a light spray and brush through using the product on Friday before riding, since then she's hacked every day and been out in the field, her mane an tail: Perfectly and i mean perfectly! conditioned, shiny, and tangle free! For £7.60 a bottle i would highly recommend it! oh and it smells quite nice too!

I use pig oil and sulphur to get it growing though.

I use NAF D-tangler on my native's thick, shoulder length mane - works a treat and wouldnt go back to using Canter mane and tail spray
