Recommend me a RC in West Yorkshire!

Just looking at Riding Clubs and wondering what the benefits are of joining one? Anyone know of any in the West Yorkshire area - Obviously if something is recommended (or not) is better than going in blind!

I can highly recommend Harewood Combined Training Group. They are a really friendly club and have lots of good trainers visiting regularly.

depends where you are I too can recommend HCTG . Nidd Valley and Selby RC are both good ones and have loads of comps/training

pensitone riding club is a lovely friendly RC with quite a bit going off and planned for 2010 i believe. West/South Yorks boundary. www.penistoneridingclub.co.uk

Training every tues/thurs flat & sj regular xc clinics and its our annual pleasure ride around Osberton Estate on saturday with an option to be able to jump around the international course!! (little fences too obviously

I used to live near Bradford & was a member of Airevalley RC & Shibden Dale RC

for your area would recommend aire valley/holme valley/shibden vale

Another HCTG vote! Eldwick RC is a really friendly club with plenty going on. Aire valleys field isnt the best... Shibden is a nice club. Wilsden equestrian have a few informal dressage and SJ. Haworth and oxenhope district bridleways group have a brill hunter trial in Spring and low key dressage league.
