Hi there,

I am hoping to arrange a riding holiday in Ireland, within easy reach of Cork or Dublin airport for sometime in the first two weeks of July. Can anyone give me a good recommendation of a suitable place. Thank you for reading!

I always recommend Bel Air Equestrian Centre in Wicklow http://www.belairhotelequestrian.com/
Easy to get to from Dublin Airport and the riding is great, they specialize in cross country and fast, exciting forest rides! Not for complete beginners but the horses are really well schooled and safe, they're all quality sport horse who are great hunters and eventers. The hotel is fab- great bar and food and plenty of craic!- and Co. Wicklow is a lovely part of Ireland, with loads to visit and some amazing scenery (of course I'm not biased- I live in Wicklow!!)

Castle Leslie has great horses, great facilities and a good XC course. For very local to Dublin, Callighstown and Brennanstown, not ridden there but competed in RC comps there and they both seemed very nice (was a few years back mind!)
