What i need:

A sturdy old trailer, capable of carrying two horses (around 15hh and 16.2hh) solid and spacious and no more than £1000.

It will be my first trailer and i have a shogun so can pull no problems.

What are your trailer recommendations and 'stay away' froms.

Thankies

I would go for an Ifor 505, I bought one off Ebay, cost a bit more than your budget but with the current market and a slightly older model you should be able to grab a bargain. Just make sure you take a wise pair of eyes to look it over

Bateson are another old - but ligthweight and well built trailers - I sold one about 4 years ago for £650 - nothing wrong with it but old, so they are about for under your budget

I would recommend an Ifor Williams HB510 if you have no towing weight restrictions. They are the best in my opinion, solidly built and even the older ones are good. Check the floor of anything you buy and also the ramps. If you are in any way doubtful walk away. They are not cheap but are worth the money.
