After finally losing patience with my local feed merchant for having the rudest staff in the whole world I will not be using them again. However, unfortunately they are the only people who stock wood pellets round here!

So, I need to start thinking about buying in bulk.

Recommendations anyone??

I've been using Liverpool Wood Pellets for the last 3 years.

I just get the economy ones a tonne at a time. They fit into my tack room easily, stacked along a wall. You'd need approx 4ft long, 2ft wide, 5ft high.

Have you used anyone else Oberon? I was told they were rubbish - mind you it was by the feed merchant mentioned above!!

We've used Liverpool in the past and never had an issue with them, I now use a local supplier who supplies Verdo pellets only on a 'supporting local businesses' stance than anything to do with Liverpool Pellets.
Verdo do supply direct, but I have never dealt with them direct.
My friend has also used Stovies which is a Scottish based company and never had any problems.

I used PLQ pellets at first and they were great. I can only do business with whoever gives me the best deal, though, and that has consistantly been LWP.

LWP are great. The only issues I've ever had have been with the delivery company they use. As in, poor communication or refusing to deliver if I'm not there to help unload (we don't have a fork lift). But a phone call to LWP sorts it all out immediately and I've only had two problems in three years.

I am trialling straw pellets at the moment, but if they don't work out, I'll happily go back to LWP.

I use Liverpool Wood Pellets no probs at all, i started a thread a while back, have a look on there at the comments :) i think their old courrier used to be bad but they seem to have a good one now
