I've got a Horseware Rhino which is 100 times better than the Amigo, and still lots cheaper than a Rambo. (the green check is slightly chavvy though). My horse is v smug in her watertight clothes, while everyone else is sopping in their Amigos.

LW turnout rug- no fill.

Not the Horseware Amigo.....apparantly the latest batch are about as waterproof as a tea bag.

Fal - it's has 40g of fill but that's nothing really, my horse is always warm but doesn't sweat in it etc. The fill just keeps the two layers of the rug apart which makes it less likely to leak and helps with breathability.

Saxon are supposed to be made by weatherbeater. I've never found them to be a good fit - they've always been like crop tops on larger horses and too big on the chest and shoulder for ponies!!!

PMSL.....yep- OH's mare has a Saxon LW...it looks like a mini-skirt on her, and bless her she's a big lass, thats what put me off them TBH...although it has never leaked, even with all the recent rain....

Apparently Hey Farm have got some rugs on sale at the minute....might be best ringing them if you're interested. I have no idea what's available or what price, just a friend at the yard came back with two rugs last week that looked quite nice and from a previous post I think you are from around that area.
