...brush for two wooly mammoth mini's!

They are moulting heavily and I'm trying to help them along but none of the brushes I have even scratch the surface! I'm thinking possibly a human hair brush might be the best thing to really get deep in to their coats?

What do other people use for their hairy beasties? :)

I don't have any clippers :o I can just imagine the look of shock on their faces having their nice thick duvets removed!

BabyA I bought a magic brush - slightly better than regular brush but still doesn't really get in to their coats at all.

Hadn't thought about a shedding blade thanks MF :)

Ohhh I've only just seen this, but I found something that is getting my minis coats out amazingly!

1..... rubber gloves! Rub/scratch them all over and they love it plus the hairs get stuck to te gloves!
2.... one if those oster (or similar make) round mane and tail brushes!! Amazing, its the inly thing I can get through my minis coats at the moment!

I've found that shedding blades can "cut" the hair 😳I, you think the full length of each hair is coming out but it isn't, but I've only noticed this with my welshie and his coat hairs can be a couple of inches long!!! I haven't got a magic wand for this unfortunately, I hate this time of year because I seem to spend months covered in horsehair!!

Got the same problem with the hairy highland. Have a shedding blade but it just bounces off his coat as its so dense.I Use magic brushes which are brilliant for everything and use a normal mane comb to clear it every few strokes of the brush. Also a furminator which is really excellent but they are a bit pricey. Everything else won't go through his coat which is 2 inches long in places.

With luck, I should be clip line free by June!! Good luck.
