If such a thing is available, I'd like to find a supplement that

- contains broad-spectrum vits & mins
- supports barefoot working (biotin?)
- supports the older horse (no arthritis as yet but prevention might be nice)

just in the interests of ease of use. Won't hurt if it's reasonably priced too!

Other than this, she's currently on haylage, lucerne and sugar beet.

thanks

Formula4feet will take care of the first two, not sure about the 3rd though, might have to add in some glucosamine and chondroitin

Blue Chip Original. Love the stuff. At one point, was feeding Kali five supplements - NAF Magic Calmer, Garlic, HH Rosehip & Seaweed, Oil, Garlic & Honey . . . now he gets everything he needs from the Blue Chip - and he looks really well.

Have a look at the feedmark website, I use benevit advanced for all mine (3-30) but they do do a veteran supplement, with free next day delivery! :)

If your horse is barefoot the best thing you can do is have your forage analysed and choose supplements that will balance out what is lacking in your horse's diet. No one supplement can do this for all horses, despite the marketing hype behind some brands ;)

Thunderbrook base mix. It is a balancer rather than a supplement but has all the gubbins in it and makes the horses look fab.
