Bracken our oldest dog, rising 15 has been a bit on and off this week and today looked a bit tucked up. Took her to the vets this afternoon and he says she's a bit arthritic, gave her a jab and a course of pills. She's much happier now so my question is can you recommend a supplement or feed suitable for her condition. She currently has a mix of meat and dry but I'm happy to try either / or.

Thankyou :)

My boy is now on the j/d mobility ( buy from vets or online). He has elbow displaysia, had the full remit of drugs, then injections and this was the last try before he would have to be operated on and it works. A friend is now feeding her very elderly and shaky springer spaniel and reported that her dog is considerably better, again a dog who has had the full range of drugs and injections. It's definitely worth a try but do shop around, prices seem to vary hugely!

^^^ this and I also gave my border collie minimal Metacam daily to help keep her comfortable.

My Bernese Mountain Dog (who isn't 7 yet) is on JD mobility - expensive but worth it!
