I've worn gym type leggings religiously for the last few years, I wear them for all sorts including riding - I find them comfortable and flexible but I'm fed up of getting snags etc in them as the fabric isn't massively hard-wearing. I'm looking for recommendations for some new ones, which would preferably be very tough (and warm for winter!) while remaining flexible, high waisted and don't roll down, would definitely have pockets, and have a good bit of compression to hold my lumps and bumps in place 🤣. Sort of thing you could wear riding but also wouldn't look out of place with a jumper and boots for a country walk and visit to the pub .... Does such a thing exist?!

I have some dark horse equestrian ones that have been great no bobbling worn well they also do thermal ones now I noticed.

I often buy the fleece lined leggings and wear them under my regular riding leggings if it's cold.

I got a pair of Avalanche leggings from TK Maxx.

They are thicker than usual and a warmer material but so incredibly flexible.

I hope I can get another pair next time I visit.

I bought a pair of Avalanche leggings just over a week ago from TK Maxx and they're the inspiration for this thread because I think they're absolutely rubbish! In the shop they looked great, lovely fit, warm and seemed good quality, but they seem to have zero resistance to abrasion and are bobbling badly around the ankles from me wearing a pair of boots and bobbling on the hips from where my coat sits - I'm mightily disappointed 🤣

I ride and run and do most outdoor things in malatlans more expensive Souluxe range. And by expensive i mean the £16 ones...

They did some fleece lined ones last winter that are lovely, i ride in the mesh paneled ones in summer and the normal ones spring and autumn. Theyve last longer than most actual riding tights ive bought for more than double the price and arent that ridiculously slippy fabric.

How bizarre. I adore mine and no bobbling 🤭🤭

I buy sports leggings from Matalan. The shiny ones don’t bobble and dry super fast if they get wet. The matte ones do bobble eventually but it takes a while.

I've got 3 pairs of these. OVRUNS High Waist Gym Leggings for Women Yoga Pants with Pockets Workout Running Compression Leggings for Women https://amzn.eu/d/hwbw9DU

I originally bought 1 pair and they got another 2 pairs. They are so much nicer than £80 leggings I've bought. I absolutely love them, no bobbling or snags and they're pretty much all I wear for horses and going out and about!
