Recommend me something to keep my feet warm!

A really warm woolly hat on your head and a base layer top that fits very snuggly.

If your head is warm and your torso warm the rest of you will stay so! :)

Another who says don't wear wellies!

I wear leather shoes and a pair of cotton socks and my feet are only ever cold if I put wellies on.

Another thing, wear boots a size to big rather than having feet tight with extra thick socks.

Le chameau neoprene lined wellies.

Or silk socks plus sheepskin insoles and a wool pair of walki g socks which is what I'm about to head out in!

Thin silk socks, then wool socks, try smart wool. And if your feet are still cold try a layer of tin foil under an innersole in your boots!

Don't use plastic bags, your feet will sweat and get rubbed.

Fii - mine have been fine, but I probably don't wear them as 'hard' as some people would. I just walk in mine. They did cope with a muddy Glastonbury with no sign of wear though (and no sore feet for me!) :)

I hope my muckers go the winter without breaking  Though I'm wondering, if my muckers had rubber soles, would they be just as uneffective as wellies at keeping my feet warm? Hope not :o

I got a pair of Harry Hall snow boots at YH Live. The have a removable neoprene lining in them and they are the warmest boots I've worn - could never go back to wellies again! So if you can get neoprene socks then I would say these. I tried heat holders last year and didn't rate them - given the amount of positives on here I think I had duds!!
