Recommend transporters please

Hi

We are looking to transport 2 dales mares one with foal at foot from Darlington to Kent in mid to late July (waiting till foal old enough to travel the long distance). The mares are both older mares and good travellers but it will be foals first time trawling. Can anyone recommend reliable transport companies who my be able to do this journey for us.

without hesitation I'd recommend to you Eric Gillie - used them twice, just recently last week from Oxfordshire to Cumbria. If they are good enough for the Queen (they hold a royal warrant) they are good enough for me. Five star transportation in spotless boxes with great care between A and B.
 
Have you not tried Gillies (as mentioned by sweetsam) ? :confused:
Many on here will highly recco them, as do I - as have used them often in the past to pick up & drop off, to save me the time away in doing do. Have trusted them with entires, dams & foals, weanlings, unhandled 4yr olds and the like :)

They are up & down the country regularly & transport mares & foals often.
Cant think of any transporter that would tie a foal, all would travel a baby loose with mum.
