Does anyone know if any fantastic rehab places, ideally close to Cambridge but for the right place would travel. I am looking at options but would like personal experiences with places.
My horse will soon be coming back into work after serious collateral damage to both coffin joints and other less serious issues that were flagged up on the MRI. He has had IRAP and shock wave and 5 months of box rest so far.
The only reason I am looking at the possibility of sending him somewhere 'top notch' is that I really want the best chance of recovery for him, he turns 5 this year, and the facilities at the yard I am at are less than perfect for starting him up again, plus with work etc. he really will need the consistency of a professional place. We have busy roads and the quiet roads have dogs running up and barking, lots of chickens and pigs etc. so I don't want him damaging himself again before we have even started.
So do you know of any places that say take them in for 6 weeks/2 months and get them into ridden work again, sympathetically and correctly? If so please help!
Thanks
