I know this should be in the Stable Yard bit but I am just so chuffed with my latest purchase. I received my Sprenger Bow Balance stirrup irons yesterday and I decided to throw them in at the deep end and take them to work with me today (I'm a groom). I hacked four times (went cantering in short stirrups ones) and schooled one horse, and I don't ache at all! The stirrups are sooooo cushion-y and bendy but they don't feel at all unstable. I didn't lose them once while doing sitting trot (small miracle there).
I think I've already got my £85-worth out of them and I can't wait to take the little coloured cob cantering (last time I had really, really bad knee-ache!)
If anyone was considering buying them but was dithering for whetever reason, just get them - they are SO nice!!
