Recommendation good stud vet cheshire

Hi

Im a little disillusioned with my regular vet practice (lots of reasons that i dont want to go into not really to do with horse care tbh) and am looking to put one of my mares in foal this spring . Im looking for a good reliable stud vet and would appreciate recommendations

I haven't used them for stud work, but Heath Equine Vets based at Cholmondeley are fantastic, and do have a repro specialist. They are independent , formed by vets who left a practice which was taken over by a bigger concern. They do their own ooh and there is always someone on the end of the phone 24/7.

I send mine away to stud- trying to manage from home is just a real pain and much less successful than proper management at a stud. If you get it times right they don’t need to be away long. Twemlows are excellent if you do go for that option
