Hi

Can anyone recommend a good farrier who can visit a pony in a village near Dorchester for one of my friends?

Particularly a farrier that can solve a long toe no heel situation.

Many thanks

Colin Deeney is also excellent, the best farrier I have ever had! Unfortunately won't travel up to Scotland to keep shoeing the horse..

Also a younger farrier called Peter Coutanche who seems to be taking on a lot of remedial work at the moment.

pm me if you want numbers etc

Ditto Colin Deeney. He is fantastic. Hes not taking on any new clients at the mo though.
Pete Coutanche might be worth a go.

I have found Peter Coutanche's phone number off the internet, have you got Colin Deeneys' please? Just in case he can take on more custom.

Thanks

Garry Manson is excellent imo. Have used him for about 7 yrs and can't fault him.

frannieuk, you posted the above about 11 years back. Do you know if Garry Manson (farrier) is still around Dorchester? If yes, is he still an active farrier? (If not, any idea where he might be, or might have gone to)? I show the company entity he was in then has apparently been dissolved.

Thanks! —DM Pearson
