Looking to buy some long leather boots, I'm 5 ft 1 and have short legs and size 2.5 feet.
I don't want to spend a shed load of money, but enough to buy a nice pair.
I have looked a childrens but struggle with the width.

Any thoughts ?

I'm also 5'1'' & my feet are a size 3. I tried lots of long boots on but ended up with Ariat short boots & gaiters. They look as good as long boots & they are the comfiest boots ever.

Britestar- that is the trouble I'v lost count of all the bruises I have had at the back of my knees because they are too high, even had this problem with leather chaps.

Its just that I want to do some dressage tests , so will short boots and chaps be ok does anyone know?

i have the same problem. Tredstep do their leather gaitors in all shapes & sizes and are plenty smart enough for shows. Rideaway stock them.

Try the Mountain Horse Sportive High Rider in Junior - they come up shorter than the adults. I'm only 5"1' and they fit a treat

Thanks ongo247 & lucyglitters, maybe a gaitor and new short boots are the way to go.

What I wouldn't do for longer legs!
