What do you recommend for an easy to drive and small as possible vehicle fitted with a tow bar? For a lady driver, low tech preferred. Ideally able to tow a lightweight trailer. Must not be wide because has to get through narrow lanes. TIA

My friend towed a single trailer with a nifty little suzuki. Great cars but as always check you licence and towing capacities -might want to search the forum or ask ROG. Link to the towing clinic in my sig. :)

Thank you. Do you know if this was the Suzuki Jimny or something else? (Yes, absolutely will check out towing capacities)

Budget up to about £15k. Want to get second hand only. No experience of this type of vehicle so really grateful for all your help!

That's a decent budget. You should get a good compact 4x4 vehicle for that. I can highly recommend the Skoda Octavia Scout 4x4, it's a very easy drive and aces at towing.

Definitely. I'm currently using a 20 year old 2wd version. 210k on the clock, towing top weight, boot full of kit and still making it up the hills without struggling. Superb motors, and very comfortable long distance too.
