To cut a long story short my horse has been lame for over a year. She was originally diagnosed with a suspensory problem on her left fore and a hock problem on her right hind. She has received PRP treatment on her foreleg on which she now appears to be sound and has had two cortisone injections into her hock. Unfortunately she is still lame on her hind leg and with £1200 left on my insurance my vet is suggesting a bone scan. My questions are:-
1. With the bare minimum amount of money left on my insurance I need to ensure she has the best possible treatment. Where in your opinion is the best place in the UK to carry out the scanning and also interpretation of the result.
2. How much did it cost?
Thanks!!!
