Since Pally has been turned away and lost alot of his topline, his saddle has been slipping back when i ride him.

Im looking for a breast plate/girth to use temporarily, mainly due to the fact im doing SO much hill work at the moment to get him fit that his saddle tends to slip back more so than it normally would.

Is ebay the way to go?

Any recommendations?

I think i have one i can send you rab, it'll be a cob sized one but think it will be big enough. I had terrible trouble getting one to fit Darce so ended up having a spare. I'll dig it out tonight and whack it in the post tomorrow- it'll only be a temporary measure as it's not very nice leather.
I ended up going round all the tack shops locally, all the stands at Badminton and finally found a cottage craft one that fitted!

Law that would be SO kind of you! You don't need to, you're too good to me! Hehe!

Thanks for the thoughts guys, HelenAndShadow, that one looks nice, and at a good price!

It's no trouble at all

You can use it till you find something better if you like.
It's a hunting breastplate not a breast girth

would A breast plate stop saddle slip from side to side then, as in trying to roll round ??????

mine does this and drives me mad - yes saddle fits fine but he is barrel shapped

When I said from side to side, its like the saddle is wiggling its self back not quite rolling from side to side. A hunting breastplate may help to some degree.
