Recommendations for grippy riding tights?

For some reason, the only riding tights I have where the silicone actually grips are Shires Aubrion and Dublin.

I also have a pair of Harry Hall ones and Royal Scot which are lovely and there appears to be lots of silicone grips on them but they slip like hell.

I want to get another pair, maybe a different brand, but I don't want to end up with another pair I can't ride in!

Any recommendations? 🙏

I have a couple of pairs of Epona riding tights which are really grippy. They’re pretty cheap and cheerful but do the job (wouldn’t recommend them for winter as they’re paper thin!)

Thank you! I'll have a look. Are they squat proof? 🙈 That's another thing with them, they end up being see-through!
Eta: Where can you get them please? I can't seem to find anywhere to buy them online.

Also another option is a cavallo seat saver. Super grippy!
That's a good shout actually, thank you! I hadn't thought of that 🤔
I need my knees to grip though for the odd fast paced spook but if it comes low enough for my thighs to grip, that may work! As I feel so guilty that I can't use my other riding tights as they were gifts!

I have the Acavallo gel out + silicone seat jods… now I can’t get out of the saddle if I wanted to 🥹
I have some Hy ones, plus some I got off Facebook. But tbh the Acavallo is so sticky I don’t think sticky bum jods are needed.

Not tights, but I nearly got in a pickle dismounting recently wearing my Mountain Horse sticky bum breeches. T’was the 17hh horse in my avatar who now has a synthetic seated TG saddle. He had a leather saddle when I’ve ridden him before.

Turns out my normal dismount tactic of leaning forward and swinging my right leg cleanly over the cantle landing lightly on both feet doesn’t work when the breeches stick to a synthetic saddle! Nearly pitched off headfirst on the off side 😳. Horse stood like a rock while I sorted myself out and had another and more successful second attempt.

Depends on your budget. Barker Equestrian are quite nice for £40 but only had them since Blenheim horse trials last year so can’t comment on the longevity of them. I’ve had a pair of the Blackfort ones for a fair few years now they have also been good but a I think they are more expensive that the Barker’s Equestrian ones.
