Recommendations for hitch lock for Equi Trek?

Bit late as an answer but try one of these;

Both are 'sold secure' approved and can be used with trailer hitched to towing vehicle or left parked solo. The Maypole one seems to be about £20 cheaper but I think with either of these it really comes down to whether you want red or yellow!! A quick internet search will get you a range of prices. Make sure you check the hitch type and part no matches before ordering.

Either is cheaper than forking out for a new trailer!
 
Thank you for your reply. I as looking for one of the ones which had a ball that locks into place? I have seen them I just don't know what they are called!
 
Thanks; I didn't even think to ask Equi-trek although I did get the wheel lock from them.

Thanks for the link; the ball bit is what I was looking for, but the one I saw was also attached to a lock that covered the entire hitch so was extra secure. Off to google now!
 
CBanglo did you find it? I've found one, I got it from Wilcox at edgemere Malpas (edgemere is also online but you can make phone orders as I didn't see it online)

It has the ball that goes in the hitch and then the yellow metal section that locks over it
 
Yes that the one thanks for the link! You can use this to lock the trailer into your car too as I have heard of trailers being stolen from cars at shows! The thief just unhitches and then hitches up to own vehicle and trundles away!
