Can you please recommend a good insurance company for dogs and if possible give some idea of premiums and how good they are at paying out. Also any to avoid. PM if you prefer. Thanks

Had GSD with Pinnacle but changed to Petplan (not companys fault just cheaper!).
She's racked up a good £7,000 of vets bills and they've paid out happily
think its cost us about £2,000 in premiums over 8 years.
Asda also paid out for our Goldies hydro sessions
Not sure about ones to avoid but search for reviews on any companies you are considering and see what has been said - I, myself, would avoid DirectLine but only because they were such pillocks with my car insurance when I had my accident!!!

ETA - we claim off Petplan probably about every 6 weeks at the least for our Shepherd

Thanks I will get quotes from both of them, I had heard Pet plan were good but i hadn't come across animal friends.

Pet plan, healthy pets, more than, marks and Spencer! Which ever u choose make sure they offer LIFELONG COVER! Some companies do not offer this and if u are unfortunate to end up with a long term problem they will only pay up to a certain amount or time of treatment.
