can anyone give any first hand experiences on any riding holidays?
I am thinking of booking one as I have no been able to ride my own horse for a long time or for the near future due to an operation. I previously rode at advanced medium, so would like some where with horses at least to that level. i would also like to jump. I have been looking at summerhouse, has anyone been there?
thanks in advance :)

I ride at summerhouse, usually on my own horse but have had quite a few sm lessons too. I would highly recommend and I think you would have a great time and get a lot from it. :)

I've been to both Pen Llyn and Summerhouse on numerous occasions. I'd go with Pen Llyn any day and I'm gutted I don't live closer (Summerhouse is 5 minutes from me) as Jan, the team and the horses are all fantastic. Happy to be PMed if you want more info :) I don't think PL offer jumping (which is not a problem for me!). If I were you I'd go to PL for one holiday and a SJ schoolmaster yard for another ;)
