Recommendations for Selective Weed Killer please

We need to spray all our paddocks (10 acres) this year before the horses are turned out.

Can anyone recommend a weed killer that gets rid of ragworth, buttercups, thistles and nettles without killing the grass? We really need to be able to put the horses out on it after a couple of weeks too!

Ask a friendly farmer. They generally know about these kind of things, and will do it for you - it often works out cheaper too! We had about 5 acres sprayed by a friend and it cost us #80 - well well worth the money - ours was mainly for buttercups and the difference was phenomenal.

Just be careful if you have clover and want to keep is as many broadleaved weed spray will kill it, and stuff that doesn't is much more expensive. If you're not bothered about clover alot of the cereal broad leave weed sprays will do the job. Ask your local ag merchant for some recs.
