Recommendations for some everyday short boots

My trusty ariat johdpur boots have finally fallen apart and I can see my socks through them. I'm looking online at boots I can wear everyday on the yard and also that I can ride in with half chaps. Need something fairly tough - have been looking at the Dublin Venturers or the trainer type boots from Dublin.

Any recommendations for boots that will stand up to some hammer and that don't cost the earth! (preferably without laces - I'm not a morning person and my sleepy brain wouldn't be able to cope in the middle of winter!)

I have mountain horse short boots, the ones with toe caps and laces, though you can get pull on ones. They are really tough and very comfy, warm and waterproof. I wear mine to muck out etc as well as to ride.
