Recommendations for tops for riding

I want to get my friend a nice riding top for her Christmas. I just slop about in charity shop finds so am totally out of touch with what's available now. Interested in base layers and fleece type zip-up tops (not jackets) that are flattering and warm but breathable. She mainly rides in an indoor school and would prefer not to be stinky after riding (I have some sports fabric t-shirts that smell horrible after one sweaty ride so would prefer not to give her anything like those!).

Shires aubrion are just the right thickness and they never smell off after wearing ? you do get winter and summer. I prefer the winter ones they are slightly warmer but warm

Aubrion base layers are amazing. I have one and aim to get more.
The past couple of years I've started to sweat quickly and it makes me cold and paranoid about smell.

I have a few Dark horse equestrian base layers they are really nice and the material is a bit heavier than most other brands.

Thanks everyone, could you give me an idea of fit too? Just thinking about Ariat boots - I take a size smaller in them than in everything else!
