Can anyone recommend a boot as above - basically want something that won't let my toes goes numb in the winter (yay for Reynards) but my budget is around £50 or so.

Use heatholder socks in wellies that are a bit big, Dunlop are quite cheap to buy . I know you said cheap and I know these are not but my aigle parcours wellies are neoprene lined are really warm and waterproof and mine are in their 8th year so works out about £20 per year, well worth the outlay if you can manage it….

Spirale Unisex's John Rain Boot

Stick that into Amazon. Currently under £40 and they're doing me well. I'm a size 5 and the size 5 I bought can get a pair of socks over my normal socks in them too.

Any neoprene-lined wellies and then buy the extra-Long Heat Holders socks for inside. As a fellow Raynaud's sufferer, these have saved me!

I live in Heat Holders socks in Winter, they're excellent.

They also now do thinner extra-Long versions of the socks (Called Lite, I think) that are 1.6tog instead of the usual, which are great for wearing under riding boots that might be tighter than your wellies.

I bought some wellies from Aldi on the middle aisle in about September and they are lovely and warm, really keep my feet warm. I use foot spray every time I use them as I find these type of boots can get smelly after a while but for £20 they are good value. They are designed for fisherman because of their warmth and sturdiness but they are not heavy to wear.

The reviews are good. I think they will be for sale again soon.

I don't buy wellies anymore but I used to put gel insoles in them and they keep your feet warm and they feel lovely underfoot, the top where your feet sit is material so they really are cosy, I use country boots now and I always put them in those as well absolute game changer and cheap.
