I am trying to buy another pair of decent jods and it's driving me crackers. Everywhere seems to sell riding tights (which I love and have loads of for summer) or gel seats, gel knees or with massive diamantes all over the arse, but I want something more substantial for winter. I have an old pair of bridleway equestrian jods that I have worn to death, and would happily have another pair but I can't seem to see them online. I have a pair of declathlon kipwarm but the sizing isn't great so didn't get on with them.

I'm after a pair with no fuss, a decent material that will keep me warm in winter and that don't cost upwards of £100, it's ridiculous. Any recommendations? Ideally under £50 would be great.

I got some lovely ones, I think they were Derby House on eBay. They were high waist, I prefer that to builders bum!!! :p

The less popular colours would be within your price range (or would have been when I bought them).

Rhinegold? Cheap and cheerful. I have some of their breeches that I really like so imagine their jods are ok too.
Bridleway eq are like a sister company to shires I believe so they might be work a looky too

Shire Wessex jodhpurs are cheap (about £20)and cheerful but comfortable and not super thin.

ETA: you can sometimes find a better range of Bridleways at their stockists.

Have a look on hope valley they have loads in the sale, I often buy the cheap Aldi ones and wear leggings underneath as the smallest size is a bit big for me but great as a top layer when it's really cold.
