I have an older mare who is slowly showing signs of age in her hocks and feet.

Vet has suggested low level of bute and to consider a joint supplement.

I am not expecting some miracle cure that turns the clock back 15 years but something with a good amount of the scientifically proven to work ingredients.

I am about to get some Boswellia but looking for something with Glucosamine, hyaluronic acid etc in.

Thanks

Not quite a traditional joint supplement but our vet recommended this for my horse who's been diagnosed with hock arthritis. Said she'd seen it work and it can be really effective. Sadly I couldn't pursue it because I'd have had to win the lottery or sell a kidney (and then probably sell the other one in a couple of years....). But may be worth looking into if you're not short of money.

Flexi joint money back guaranteed. My vet said bute for life, but Equimins said if you have lubrication you don't have pain
No pain no painkiller

Devils Claw, highest strength, from Amazon has changed my 31 yr old shetlands life! He is a rescue, and could not bend his knees, he would just rear in pain. I also used magnetic wraps. He now loves being led out on rides ? One or two tablets a day, but he needs none atm.

I have my 19 yr old mare on feedmark extra flex and found a difference. She used to consistently walk over for her dinner but now she canters down. Her hindlwgs almost bunny hop but she seems more willing to move faster.
