I'm looking to buy my first BP. I got fitted for one at a local saddlery today - tried on two (a Rodney Powell and an Airowear). I liked the Airowear best as it fitted my boobs better!

I have read good things about Kanteqs but they are a bit out of my price range really.

Are there any others that are worth considering for the curvier shape? (I am a size 14 on top)

I found I love my Airowear Outlyne. I have the problem that I'm such different sizes from chest to just below my chest. Think FF boobs, 32 inch chest, sixe 8-10 lower half of torso. Is hard to get something which fits upper and lower parts of my torso if that makes sense... I found the Outlyne is so comfy I forget its there after it's warmed up, as it moulds so well.

Thanks, Tennessee. Yes, it was the Outlyne that I tried on. They let me wear it for a while while I browsed round the shop (no, I didn't feel at all silly shopping in a BP!! ;) ) so I could feel how it warmed up and moulded to my shape.

The Kan really is the business for boobs! Yes, they are slightly more in price than the others you have mentioned, but the foam does not degrade over time, so, unlike the others, you will not need to replace after 3/5 years. They are also supremely comfortable, and customer service is second to none.

I had this exact dilemma a couple of weeks ago. I tried a race safe but it just doesn't cater for the larger chest. Loved the kanteq, but really couldn't stretch to that kind of money. Ended up buying the airowear outlyne and I LOVE it!! As the others have said, once it warms up and moulds to your body shape, I almost forget I'm wearing it! And it was a fraction of the cost of the kanteq. x:)

Another vote for Racesafe! I am a 34G  for my sins, and it's the only one that I find comfy! After a few minutes, I forget I am wearing it and it's been cool in this lovely weather, too!

I am very top heavy but have a small waist and the best fit for me was the Racesafe- very comfortable and totally adjustable on the sides to fit very snugly but I can still breathe!

Another vote for the racesafe! So comfy and very adjustable. I have tried a Kanteq and was surprised at how well it fitted and that it was not as heavy as they look, but I didn't like how rigid it felt. Also so much more money, which I couldn't have justified for a body protector I was not completely comfortable in. I can wear my racesafe happily for show jumping and hacking, don't think I would like to do that in a Kanteq.

I would try a Kanteq on before completely dismissing them on price - I found them so much more comfortable than the others and was worth the extra money. I'm a size 14.

Are you going to Badminton? It's a good chance to try all of the different types on.
