Recommendations please - brown short boots for casual and riding

Hi all, wondered if anyone could recommend me any short boots in brown that look nice for casual wear as well as riding? I'm going down the chelsea/jodhpur boot route as the elastic makes them quicker to put on. I have a pair of toggi ones but they come quite high up the ankle and don't look so good on my short legs!!

I have the Shires Brompton paddock boots. I won them in a giveaway and they were so comfy and smart that I decided to keep them for none horsey wear. They are the comfiest boots ever and when I go to metal concerts with the husband I always get asked where they are from
I pressume they do them in brown, mine are black I have short legs too and think they go well with jeans/leggings etc

I have Ariat Heritage paddock boots (Got them in tack shop sale for £30) and they look smart with jeans / trousers (I wore them in the office & no one noticed)/in hand showing & riding. Super comfy too.

PE look nice but can't comment on quality & have 25% off at the moment I believe

I have a pair of Harry Hall Recife that I picked up a decade or so ago. I've always said that when they give up the ghost/start looking scruffy I'll treat myself to some really nice boots, but the bloody things just keep on going!

Have a look at these. Cheaper than Ariat and much better leather, really comfy boots that last for years.

I've got these, been really surprised on how comfy they are and they have taken quite a lot of abuse so far and have held up well.

I bought myself a pair of Clarke's Broyd black boots from Amazon for €85 in size 44 for riding, and liked them so much that I got myself two more pairs, one black and one tan, in 44.5 for everyday use with thicker woollen socks.

You mentioned that you preferred Chelsea boots with elasticated panels, but I prefer lace-ups; I can't help but think that the elastic will fail before the boot is worn out.

This is a quite low boot, I think it barely comes above my ankle bone. It's very nice, supple leather, and leather lined, with a cushioned insole. Much, much better quality than the all-leather but unlined boots I had in my second year of riding, bought at Decathlon for around €40 and which lasted barely more than 18 months. It's also a very lightweight boot, about half the weight of the Hardrige boot that I'm wearing today for work. I think it's the Marc model, but in brown (I got it at the Hardrige outlet shop at nothing like the €280 price quoted on the website, so maybe it was a discontinued colour).
