Does anyone know of any really good hoof supplements that you can buy from shops or on the internet?
MInes got really britle hoofs becasue of the summer and need something to help his hoofs along

Keratex....i used to use on my TBx who had very brittle hooves with very soft soles, worked wonders. i used the hoof hardener

farrier advised its best put on after shoeing and only to the nail holes, then added everyday forva week then just once a week, if used onvthe sole dont put it on the frog

You can't beat Biotin IMO!

For something to take orally I'd recommend Formula4Feet and for something to paint on Kevin Bacon's Hoof Ointment.

I found Biotin was a great feed supplement. Both Effol hoof ointment and Cornucresine were also good to apply daily

I have had fantastic results with hoofmaker, you feed 1 sachet per day and have used it on several horses with poor feet and has made such a difference. Formula4feet would be a close 2nd!

i would recommend the one that is available on the link in my sig - it's called Support (but then i would cos i developed and tested it, and sell it)

other than that i would recommend cornucrescine supplement or farriers formula.

be aware that nothing will be a quick fix. you will be looking at a good year or even more before you see the full improvement.
