Recommendations please....

I have been looking on the internet for rider insurance and am getting a little confused.
I thought I would ask for recommendations from the experience and expertise of people who are more in the know (that would be you lot!

)

Who would you recommend and why?

bhs gold membership gives you liability cover for on road riding. pet plan do similar policy. as do pc membership, be and bd. why do you need rider cover? if at riding school you ride on their insurance. if riding a friends horse which is insured you are covered on their policy. if riding for money you will need a proper liability policy including 3c (care custody and control) if insuring against personal injury you need a broad based accident plan(expensive) to includer riding, but if you have hired horse from stables this will be null and viod, as will if you have recieved payment in kind or leiu or for financial gain. happy hacking

I go riding at a riding school, but I help out every Saturday and I also go out on rides as an escort (unpaid work, I volunteer)
I need something to cover me if I have an accident and cannot go to work!
