Hi peeps,
Does anyone have any recommendations for a trainer/instructor, preferably freelance i.e. will travel to a yard (in South Herts area) rather than having to take your horse to them?
For flatwork and/or jumping. Ideally someone with a good eye for detail and a focus on position (horse and rider) - kind of Heather Moffett/Enlightened Equitation/Mary Wanless, Ride With Your Mind type of approach (rider biomechanics). Sorry for the jargon but those who are into this will hopefully know what I mean.
Someone's mentioned Simon Battram but not sure he will come out to the yard, or might need a bigger group so can't always do that regularly. I've also been in touch with Ali Wakelin in Essex but would need to be for a group of 5+.
Any other ideas pretty please? Thanks.
PS If you are after this type of instructor PM me as I have a recommendation but, for reasons I'd rather not go into on a public forum, I am exploring alternatives ! Sigh.
