I've just picked up a Wetherbeeta for my very chunky Suffolk (it's a sacrificial rug because he keeps getting bitten by other horses) I got it from an outlet, shop soiled so very cheap and I wasn't expecting it to fit him but actually, it's not too far off so should fit a chunky cob well. I usually buy Ruggles or Epic (Big horse shop)

For a gypsy cob. I have a premier equiine which fits her for the moment but she will chunk out quite a lot.Any sugestions for brands?
*waving hands frantically* I found weatherbeetas fit mine, although pricy. For a more budget friendly (and I’ve found them to be more waterproof and lightweight) Trojan gallop. Equally, I would not touch rhinegold with a barge pole.

Weatherbeeta for me too but I'm another Gallop TROJAN convert.

I think it was @Tiddlypom that always recommending them. I had bad experiences with the "standard" Gallop rugs after my mum bought some for her horse. I took a punt on the Trojan versions and they are fantastic. I've now got the 100gm and 200gm with the 0gm on order.

I’ll have a check at work. They have some massive wide horses and bought some new turnouts recently after having them squeezed into far too tight rugs, they are a brand I’d not heard of but really super quality and designed for big horses so fit beautifully. I suspect they weren’t cheap but I’d highly recommend them.

So the labels say Epic thebighorseshop.co.Uk
They have Hunter broad fit, no idea what else they come in but horses are proper chunks and have lots of space in them.
They are maybe quite big sizes aswell. Usually 6’9 in regular neck shires these are 6’9 and a little large maybe
