Recommended Trailers?

Hi guys I have a connemara for sale and once he is sold, we will be using the money to purchase a trailer for travelling with my new horse. We drive a Peugeot jeep and require a fairly light trailer for a safe and easy tow. We have towed Ifors before and you could definitely feel that it was pushing at the limits of what our car can manage. We can't pay too much, preferably under £3000 but I'm open to any suggestions, do you have any recommendations?

Do you know what weight your car can legally tow? My understanding is that Ifors are reasonably light as far as trailers go although I'm no expert. I have a 505 and toe with a Nissan X-trail. When empty or carrying a small pony I can barely notice I'm towing, it is only when travelling a 13.2 or bigger that I don't have to keep reminding myself as I'm driving along that I'm towing, if you know what I mean? )
