Recommended Transport from Stroud to Canterbury

Having problems finding a genuine, reliable and not too £££ transporter for our special girl.
Recommendations from Stroud to Canterbury please.

The only one I've used is The Horse Transporter and he was excellent. I doubt he's cheap though.

Is self hire an option? That’s probably the cheapest.

If you're not to worried about set days then it may be worth giving John Parkers in Hythe a call as they do shared loads for cheaper or if they are coming back empty are willing to pick one up on tne way home for a cheaper fee, it has to be when they are passing the area you need though.

The horse transporter is brilliant. Man called Hugh. He’s really kind and Gloucestershire based too I think?

Absolutely 100% recommend Jez Dance International Horse Transport @ Cirencester. Absolutely brilliant and If I ever needed a horse transporting further than I wanted to drive or (as I did) one that travelled really badly I'd use him.

Sadly our transporter from Canterbury broke down whilst on her way to collect the other horse for our journey and having got the box back for repair, the Canterbury equine community is shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of Chris Moyce.
But I will ask John Parker. Good shout.

I use a guy called John Hughes if I need a transporter. Lovely reliable guy and always fairly priced.

I couldn't believe it about Chris! It was definitely a shock to the local community.

I'm not sure who you used before but there is also Evergreen Transport, she os based near Dover and I know she does longer distances as well as local and has all the correct paperwork.

If you can get someone to drive for you then I recommend John Page Trailers at Biddenden, they have a 2.5 t lorry they hire for self drive and it's at a good price.
