Any ideas will be welcome on this one. My wee mare aged 11 went lame 7 or 8 weeks ago rested her for two weeks no improvement so got the vet. Vet couldnt find anything but felt it was in the left front no heat no pulse but a little bit touchy on the heel put her on bute for a week and went sound in around 3 days finished the weeks bute and rested for a fuurther week totally sound. walked her out for a week with some trotting and a little canter still sound. A further week and no problems. Went to see her today lame on the same leg at around the same grade of lameness possible 1 or 2 out of 5. Cant think of anything as there is no heat no swelling or digital pulse. She was galloped in the stubble fields yesterday so dont know if that has done anything. She has always been low in the heels but when you press them she does not react. I will rest her till next week and if no improvement will get the bloomin vet will try and get him to nerve block her foot and xray if she goes sound as he didnt find anything on his first examination. Any ideas good or bad appreciated.
