Recycle,Recycle..so they say!

Please could someone tell me why, in an age when all they go on about recycling all your waste....which I do dutifully at home,washing out cans,jars and bottles,flatten out cardboard box's and various bits of other related paper stuff! That when I buy any horse related supplement which comes in a nice big plastic tub,when it comes to buying more,I can't just buy a bag of 'said' supplement to pour into the tub!The only one I've seen to date has been some garlic suppliers,who appear do this! So you can only do so much with a tub,(and I end up dragging it home, to recycle here!).....or is there more you can do with them!

Farrier Formula have stopped selling their refills and you can now only get them in the plastic tubs!!!

The amount of energy needed to recycle those things anyway, you're better off reusing them for something else instead.

Give your old tubs to gardeners for weeding etc, I also use them when I am creosoting, or staining fences.

Simple Systems do garlic in bags to refill.
